Mojang CEO Carl Manneh has announced that Scrolls, Markus Persson’s new Magic the Gathering-styled collectible card game, became profitable a week after it went to open beta on the 3rd June.
The developer also revealed that there would be microtransactions added to Scrolls, but that they would be cosmetic purchases, not part of a pay-to-win structure.
