ArenaNet has announced that the major The Sky Pirates of Tyria update for Guild Wars 2 is now available for download. The update includes a new dungeon, new events, new rewards and new features, as well as the Custom Arenas and Spectator Mode which were in beta test for the past few months.
Monocle!The new story dungeon is Aetherblade Retreat, where players invade the Aetherblade base, fighting pirates and taking on the Aetherblade Captain and First Mate bosses, with special drops and caches, including a First Mate Horrik miniature companion and a stylish monocle.
The update also includes a new skill, Mortar Mastery, which includes increasing mortar blast radius, damage buffs, reducing skill recharge, and even adding a new skill, Mortar Barrage.
