Microsoft has confirmed that Kinect Sports Rivals is no longer a launch title for the Xbox One. The game is being pushed back to Spring 2014.
According to a company rep, the game’s developer, Rare, is being given extra time to polish the title. However, the game still will have a playable demo at PAX Prime and GamesCom 2013.
Since the Xbox One will be including a Kinect in every system, it’s somewhat painful for there not to be a pure Kinect title that makes good use of the device, as the Xbox 360 Kinect Sports games did.
