Armikrog from The Neverhood creator on Kickstarter, already over $131k

Pencil Test Studios proposes some good ole clay animation adventuring in the stylings of The Neverhood. For that to become a thing again in this harsh HD world of ours, the team is asking for $900k via Kickstarter.

So over 2,600 backers have pledged a little over $131k with 29 days to go. Doug TenNapel, also creator of Earthworm Jim, wants a ‘spiritual successor’ to The Neverhood, which much of the original team.

Without spoiling much, in Armikrog we follow space explorer Tommynaut and his blind talking alien-dog, Beak-Beak. Instant classic.

The pair crash land on a planet and end up trapped in a mysterious fortress called Armikrog. It’s promised as a point and click adventure with all the ”characteristics of TenNapel’s unmistakable style,” which means:
