An indie team is taking Breakout to a new level with Caromble Arkanoid">/i, and putting it on Steam Greenlight.
According to the developers, the game has been in development since 2010l using the Ardor3D engine. As such, the game is in full 3D, using physics to smash not only blocks but crates, walls and even skyscrapers during the finale.
The game is also not restricted to the typical Breakout format, either, with a healthy dose of pinball and even side-scrolling platforming added as a change of pace.
