Rockstar held the next-gen version of GTAV back for retailers only at Gamescom last month, sparking rumours that the much-anticipated remastered version would be delayed until 2015.
After a fan questioned Rockstar regarding the delay a representative popped up to confirm that the ”release date has not changed”, and that the title is still planned for release this Fall on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Worried fans were pointed towards the Rockstar support page, which still states the rather unhelpful window of ”fall 2014” and little else. It still seems a little odd that we haven’t had any further information since that announcement back in June, but I’m sure we’ll soon find out one way or the other.
The Twitter account of the British retailer GAME’s Croydon store recently posted a November 1 release date, but withdrew it shortly afterwards, claiming the date was wrong and apologising for any ”confusion”. Make of that what you will.
We’ll keep an eye out for any further information.
@VG_Dave November 1st :-) how exciting! If you haven't pre-ordered now is the time! This one will fly out of the shop before I know it!
