Alas, it appears that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's zombie mode is not in the core game, but will instead we unlocked as part of a DLC package.
That's according to a press release from GameStop, which identifies the latest incarnation of the franchise's popular undead elimination sub-game as being part of the Advanced Warfare Season Pass.
"This just in, Zombies are back as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass!" reads the press release. "Stop by any GameStop to pick up one of the most anticipated games to launch this year, along with 4-multiplayer map packs, Atlas Gorge, and yes - ZOMBIES. All this is available for purchase today GameStop as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass for only $49.99."
Eurogamer reports that zombies so pop up in the core game, but only in the form of brief teaser as a bonus wave in the Exo Survival Co-Op Mode. You apparently have to unlock every map before this happens.
You can grab the Season pass for £34.99 on Steam. Which is almost as much as the main game. So how do we all feel about this? Any Zombie Mode fans out there annoyed that the mode's been removed from the main game?
