As well as updating us with the latest sales figures (875,000 copies in three weeks!), a new Day Z blog post from developer Marek Spanel lists several upcoming features that should make their way into the game over the next few months.
After thanking the fans who’ve purchased the Early Access edition, Spanel highlighted the following as priority features for the Day Z team.

People seem to adore just grubbing around in the zombie apocalypse already, so anything on top of that will be a bonus. The idea of a hunting system makes a lot of sense, and the promise of player built shelters is intriguing. Zombie-proof pillow fort anyone?
