A new update for the space sim/RPG is due soon, and LGM have posted a teasing shot of the Oculus VR headgear at work with it in their offices as "early tests are underway".
It means the team will start to be mindful of rendering and resolutions as they go so the Oculus Rift is natively supported and not shoe-horned in later post launch.
"Recently we became registered as Oculus rift developer. Early tests are underway and we are positive support for oculus VR technology will enable players to truly experience vastness and depth of space," said LGM Games' Mario Mihokovic. "Our plan is to make all necessary modifications in rendering and resolution, in order to allow players to experience all of the awesome immersion OR is capable to offer!"
Starpoint Gemini 2 is available through Steam Early Access in alpha form for £16.99.
