WB Games has released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, with the focus on upgrading Talion’s abilities as we execute our ”personal plan of vengeance” against Sauron.
Runes add powerful buffs to weapons and are lootable from the corpses of enemy captains, and can be combined. Epic runs can make Talion’s weapons legendary and feared.
Having death threats delivered to war chiefs will apparently yield these epic runes, as they surround themselves with tough bodyguards making the fight much tougher.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor releases on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 October 7th.
Warner Bros. has also announced some pre-order exclusives, with further details due closer to launch.
