Evil Twin Artworks has announced that it's teaming up with Games Workshop to bring Man O’ War: Corsair, "a sea faring open world combat-action title" based in the Warhammer Fantasy world, to PC.
It's based on another GW board game in which players controlled a fleet of ships from one of the fantasy universe's major races - though here you'll choose between Empire and Chaos. You'll trade in one of 50 unique ports, build up your crew, engage in boarding actions while controlling your captain directly, and generally try to make as much cash as possible without getting eaten by some kind of horrific sea monster.
James Carroll, director at Evil Twin Artworks, who arebest known for tactical naval combat game Victory at Sea, says; “We’re so excited and honoured to bring the classic Warhammer world of Man O’ War to life in our brand new title. We’ve learned a lot from our time developing Victory At Sea and can’t wait to see what the fans will think about our new creation!”
Check out a teaser trailer below. That's one giant shark. Man O’ War: Corsair will hit Steam Early Access in early 2016.
