Tricky Early Access roguelike platformer Catacomb Kids has just received a hefty new update, which adds a brand new character class and a couple of new stat boons.
Joining current heroes the Poet and the Bully is the Wanderer, a speedy class with ”senses sharp as knives”. There also new unique weapons and some ”not insignificant changes” to the level generator, allowing for locked doors and new pre-made rooms.
”For the next update (IN A MONTH I SWEAR),” says developer FourbitFriday, ”I’ll be working on finishing the things I didn’t manage to for this update: Daily run leaderboards, more and better transitional stages, and certain talked-about changes to magic that those who watch the dev streams might be aware of.”
