It seems obvious considering the name of the game, but Lara Croft didn’t come across too many actual tombs in the first entry of the rebooted series, Tomb Raider in 2013. That’s about to change, as the newest in a serious of videos for the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider was filled with plenty of details about archaeological interests for our leading lady.
As you can see in the video, a new language system will task Lara with investigating all sorts of ancient items, murals, and environmental clues that will allow her to improve herself in three ancient languages. Once improved enough, Lara will be able to read a language proficiently and discover hints to secret locations and crypts. It’s nice to see Lara finally getting back to doing her job.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 10th and will come to PC and PS4 sometime in 2016.
