Konami has advised players of a new way to complete Metal Gear Solid 5’s troublesome missions 29 and 42 with sniper buddy Quiet, without causing a potentially game-breaking bug.
”You may still safely use Quiet in these missions if you use the Butterfly Emblem throughout the mission or avoid raising your Bond Level with Quiet to MAX during the course of the mission,” the publisher reveals. That will have to do until a proper solution is found.
Of course, just to be on the safe side you’ll probably want to avoid using her completely until Konami gives the A-OK. The company is still trying to work out a fix for the issue, which prevents game progression.
