Rashid is the second new character confirmed for Street Fighter 5

The second new Street Fighter 5 character has been revealed. Joining red-haired wild man Necalli as a brand new debutante is wind-summoning brawler Rashid.

NeoGAF user Neoxon captured the announcement at the Games15 event in Dubai, and captured an image of the character selection screen and a rather blurry slice of off-screen gameplay.

Rashid is an Arabic character who can control mini-tornadoes, and appears - from the very limited footage available so far - to be a speedy, aerial combat focused character. Now that the secret's out, expect Capcom to follow up pretty quickly with some kind of detailed introduction.

Street Fighter 5 will be released on PC and PS4 next year.
