Update 1.1 has dropped for Turtle Rock's monster-hunting shooter Evolve, bringing some of the most exciting changes you're ever likely to see in a list of patch notes.
No wait. I mean the opposite of that. Instead we get such gems as an FOV slider, better Direct X stability, and “improved 21:9 monitor support”. Very sexy stuff.
There are also fixes for a shadow rendering bug, and one that solves an issue with disappearing mouse cursors. It's not a brand new game mode or a shiny new map, but players will probably appreciate these little fixes. I think it will probably take a little more than this to tempt back some lapsed players to rejoin Evolve's dwindling servers, however.
It's a shame the game's gotten off to a bit of a rocky start. It certainly has a neat and original concept, but it seems like Evolvesn't really captured the public's imagination. Anyway, here's the full list of changes.
