GOG.com is holding an ’Indie Pinata’ sale, offering a bunch of DRM-free titles for varying discounts, and offering a pop at getting a random indie game too.
You can buy a whack at the site’s virtual pinata for $3/£1.99, and win a random title priced between $9.99 and $49.99. If you have an account with the site GOG will assign you a title that you don’t own, but if you do happen to grab a game you’ve played, you can trade it in for a gift.
Outside the Indie Pinata offer, notable games discounted include Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father at 60% off, Hotline Miami 2 at 33% off, and Xenonauts at an oddly exact 49% off. The sale runs until Friday, September 18, and new deals will be rotated in on September 17.
