Fallout 4 may only be a couple of months away, but developer Bethesda hasn't quite decided on the exact system requirements they'll put out for the post-apocalyptic RPG.
In a tweeted response to a fan query, head of marketing Pete Hines said that the studio is "not going to give out incomplete or inaccurate info before we know. That'd be irresponsible."
Judging by previous entries in the series, and its sister franchise Elder Scrolls, they shouldn't be too prohibitive - Bethesda's always preferred expansive world-building and freedom of exploration to cutting-edge graphics. Skyrim's wow factor was largely added post-launch by graphics modders.
"It's not just about quality," Hines added. "For sys requirements it's compat testing to figure out performance on a lot of different hardware."
We'll hopefully find out what kind of rig we'll need soon enough. Fallout 4 is set for release this November 10.
