Patch 6.2 is coming to World of Warcraft next week, and it’s bringing with it a whole new zone to explore, a new raid in the Hellfire Citadel to repeatedly wipe in, and a bunch of other new features.
Tricksy orc shaman Gul’Dan has constructed a stronghold in the Tanaan Jungle, surrounded by hellfire and corrupted by the demon armies of the Burning Legion. Your job is to infiltrate and cleanse it. Here’s Blizzard’s description:
”Whether Horde or Alliance, as commander of your side’s garrison in Draenor you must oversee the construction of warships to assault Tanaan and disrupt the Iron Horde’s frenzied preparations – then stop Gul’dan before his fel masters can gain a foothold on Draenor. If you fail, there will be nothing left to prevent the Burning Legion’s obliteration of Azeroth.”
Aside from the new raid, players can expect new Shipyards for their Garrisons, from which you can launch naval missions, a new Timewalking mode for various dungeons that offers enhanced versions of old, obsolete gear, and a bunch of other balance tweaks, fixes and minor additions.
