It's time to put the past behind and look to the future. Batman: Arkham Origins developer WB Montreal is gearing up for something big. The studio has posted several new job openings looking for staff to work on two new AAA projects.
The studio's official website has a new entry promo that launches right at arrival, announcing that the studio is currently recruiting. It mentions the two AAA titles currently in development that are specifically focused towards "expanding the DC Comics universe in the interactive space." The job openings page on the site features a wealth of positions for artists, software developers, and programmers.
It's of note that WB Montreal not only handled Arkham Origins, but also the Batgirl DLC that was released for Rocksteady's Arkham Knight. Neither were the greatest entries of their series, but Arkham Origins hardly had the long drawn fiasco associated with the PC port of the Arkham Knight game.
No word yet on what the two projects will be, but considering the implication of "expanding the DC comics universe," there's an interesting cameo WB Montreal managed to sneak into the Batgirl DLC that might point to where at least one of the two coming projects is headed. It regards to Starro, a Justice League villain being found in a hidden room of the game. Footage of the room can be seen below.
