Papo and Yo developer Minority Media has announced that their prehistoric game VR Time Machine will be launching this coming April, and will be compatible with both the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. The game has players travelling back to the age of dinosaurs to harvest their DNA.
”You are a time-traveling cadet tasked with exploring the Jurassic era and facing the ancient creatures who once ruled Earth’s prehistoric oceans. Events in the present soon unfold that make your mission and the DNA you are gathering key to the survival of the human race.” said the developer in a press release. However, in the present, a global plague strikes which promises to render the human race extinct, and it’s up to the player to use that DNA to somehow save mankind.
Minority Media also released a trailer showing off some of the gameplay in the first person action-adventure game.
