Are you ready to stealth it up in Dishonored 2? Or maybe you already have your heart set on making use of Emily's myriad miraculous abilities to push over, possess and ignite just about everyone you see. Whichever way you plan to run through Karnaca, the time is getting close. It's gone gold!
There's 10 days to go before the clockwork mechanisms begin to turn, and while that seems like an awfully short time to go into print, maybe you're better off worrying about the system requirements set in place to run the PC version of the game - though they're really not all that bad.
Thankfully not delving so deep as to set a sound card recommendation, the system requirements for Dishonored 2 are rather tame; so long as you've upgraded in the last 4 or 5 years:
Minimum:
Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
8 GB RAM; 60 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB or better
Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game.
Requires Steam activation.
Recommended:
Windows 10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-8350 or better
16 GB RAM; 60 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB or better
Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game.
Requires Steam activation.
The game even makes use of NVidia's new Ansel system allowing for the full freeze of individual frames for users to take complete control of the camera for some wonderful kodak moments. View distance, Rat Shadows and Surround are all specifically mentioned as in-game settings, too. Just in case you were worried the vermin wouldn't look pleasing to the eye.
Dishonored 2 goes live November 11. Pre-loading begins November 8.
