With only a month on the clock, the release of Space Hulk: Deathwing is practically just around the corner. Fresh out of the gate today is a brand-new trailer showcasing the brute's varied weaponry and demonstrating why the fast-paced gunner is likely trying for the title of most recoil-heavy shooter of the generation.
Making sure everything has a respectable weight, those partaking in the title's blend of Quake or DOOM-esque monster squashing are likely going to feel like the steel soldier they'll control in the spin-off franchise's first-person shooter debut.
Co-op play comes into the mix this time around meaning a group of 4 players can navigate the infested halls of each 'ship' in a squad with more firepower than they'll likely know what to do with. While 4 plasma cannons may not be much use for those wide open areas, it sounds like a blast to take up a back-to-back formation with something like the assault cannon and shred up the incoming horde.
Space Hulk: Deathwing is currently still up for pre-order on Steam with a respectable 15% discount. There's even a handy FAQ detailing the game's overall length and why single-player AI comrades were reduced from 3 to 2.
