Remember the interview CD Projekt RED had with a Polish gaming website a few weeks ago? In that interview, the developers spoke about releasing the final DLC for The Witcher 3, Blood and Wine, before E3. According to game’s DLC page on Steam, Blood and Wine is scheduled to release on May 30h.
Screen-captured by veteran NeoGAF poster Wario64, the Steam page (which was promptly taken down) not only included a date for Blood and Wine but featured an extensive list of the DLC’s features. We’ve included the screen-captures in this news article, if you are interested.
Haven’t read too much about the final DLC? Here’s a brief description to whet your appetite: ”Become professional monster slayer Geralt of Rivia and explore Toussaint, a remote land untouched by war, where you will unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom. With all trails leading to dead ends, only a witcher can solve the mystery and survive the evil lurking in the night. Introducing an entirely new realm to traverse, new characters and monsters. Blood and Wine is a 20+ hour adventure full of dark deeds, unexpected twists, romance and deceit.”
If you still haven’t played The Witcher 3, you should really check out our review. We gave the game an incredible 9.5! Chris Capel had to this say: “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an absolute triumph and the best open-world RPG around, maybe even the best altogether.”
If this leak is correct, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine is set to launch May 30th.
