Those feeling burned after the slight Mass Effect: Andromeda release delay needn't worry too much more, as a hasty Amazon listing seems to have shared the secretive release date with the world.
The pre-order page of the upcoming companion book by Dark Horse Comics mentions sales of the book commencing 'simultaneously with the game'. With the book itself being scheduled for a March 21 release, the date lines up with the minor delay announcement that pushed back the anticipated follow-up series to EA's fourth fiscal quarter - which takes place between January-March 2017.
Though the UK product page doesn't mention the 'simultaneous' release part, the 'Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda' book is penned in for a slightly later March 23 date - signalling how Europe might only get their hands on the game a few days after the supposed North American release date
Either way, it's entirely possible the product description was just an error in judgement and doesn't necessarily reflect a simultaneous release. Yet the date lining up close to the end of EA's projected window does make sense.
Hopefully they'll make it official some time soon.
