The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt may not be getting an enhanced edition, but it is getting an extensive update on all available platforms. Patch V1.12 takes aim at a myriad of glitches and bugs existing in the normal game and its ‘Hearts of Stone’ expansion and is live on all available platforms now.
The patch was initially announced by CD Projekt Red Community Lead Marcin Momot via Twitter earlier today and finally confirmed and released later on. The patch features over 70 changes to Witcher 3 and ‘Hearts of Stone’, including bug and glitch fixes, balance tweaks, and overall game optimizations.
The top lines of the patch includes a slew of fixes to issues which might otherwise keep a quest from being completed, such as finding all the diagrams in the quest known as ‘From Ofier’s Distant Shores’ or spreading smoke through a crypt in ‘Dead Man’s Party’. Witcher 3 and its DLC are certainly large and even as big as this patch is, it won’t fix everything, but it’s a welcome step in the right direction.
