A technical snafu had EA’s press conference rehearsal streaming out early today, and with it, the official announcement, trailer, and details of Titanfall 2.
The game will feature the online multiplayer combat the series is known for. Six new Titans with unique combat abilities will be available, as well as expanded out-of-mech gameplay, more customization options, and a more involved progression system. Ahead of the launch, a multiplayer technical test will be available through the official website.
These are expected features, but the bigger news is that Titanfall 2 will feature a full offline single-player campaign. It features the movement and combat styles of the game’s multiplayer component, and features mechs with individual personalities, exploring the connection between pilot and Titan.
Titanfall 2 will be available October 28 on PS4, Xbox One, and Origin on PC. Following the leaked footage, EA has released the trailer officially, and you can watch that below.
