20 years after the original idea, Samir Rebib is now hard at work creating a Beat em' Up, adventure title drawing heavy inspiration from a manga he envisioned as a child. The game, Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom.
Coming this December to not only PC, but current gen consoles too, this wonderful Behind-the-Scenes video demonstrates how we'll control 5 unique characters in a vibrant world plucked from the pages of Samir's original manga. Enigami studio opens its doors to have a sit-down discussion about the hours being poured into the game's creation and inspiration process while giving us a little over-the-shoulder look at some of its key staff doing what they do best.
It's even given the company director, Hazem Hawash, his first opportunity to create an original soundtrack.
Each of the 5 characters bring their own unique gameplay style to the table both in-terms of fighting prowess and puzzle-solving powers. Pre-orders for Shiness are already being taken for the December release on Steam alongside the official manga and soundtrack.
