The gaming world is ablaze with the news of the return of Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption. The open world Western has now received it's first of no doubt many, teaser trailers.
The trailer itself does not give too much away and news on characters, story and setting are all yet to be determined. The voice that can be heard in the trailer is clearly not that of Red Dead Redemptions protagonist John Marston unless he's a lot older. Not to mention the fact that he did die in the first game, or is presumably dead, leaving likely that the new game may contain a new cast of characters.
The teaser images previously released also indicate towards an ensemble cast as does the new teaser trailer with several people riding off into the distance. This could point to the game have a more Magnificent seven vibe to the overall experience where by you have a team of people this time round rather than a single protagonist by himself.
Either way, only time will tell who the mysterious character in the trailer is, what the setting and story of the game will be. The idea that there could be an ensemble cast of characters and that you get to ride with a crew, does sound awfully appealing.
