Dishonored 2 is shaping up to be an arcane assassin's dream come true. The more we learn about the new abilities of Corvo Attano and the altogether new style of now playable Emily Kaldwin, the more expanded the possibilities for stealth, evasion, and aggression. To further pique the interest of fans everywhere, a new video was released today, showing off just a few ways you can link abilities together to create stylish assassinations.
The video showcases a slew of combinations involving Emily and Corvo's powers alongside their wide array of mechanical gadgets. We get to see two ideas for each character, as well as the myriad of situations in which they become applicable.
We had already seen Emily's Far Reach, Domino, and Shadow Walk abilities on display in previous trailers, but this trailer also showcased a Doppleganger ability that Emily uses to make a copy of herself, as well as a Transposition ability that allows her to switch places with the Doppleganger. Furthermore, we saw her use the Bloodfly Swarm, which spawns the nasty little ravenous insects out of freshly made corpses Emily creates to set loose upon her enemies.
Corvo's abilities mostly remained intact with the Bend Time and Blink abilities on display, but of particular note was his Blink Throw ability, which now allows him to launch enemies with a kick at the end of a Blink. Each character's abilities both old and new were used in conjunction with a variety of personal and environmental weapons to show off just how many ways you can murder foes in the game.
Dishonored 2 is slated for release on 11 November, 2016 world-wide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Get a look at the trailer in action below, revel in the mayhem, and start concocting your own creative kills!
