There's not a day that goes by without a Warhammer fan getting a new sliver of information relating to either the tabletop game, expanded lore, video game adaptions or even a video game trying to be a tabletop game; and Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach is the next title to cater to that audience as it's getting closer to its January 19 release.
According to their marketing director, the finishing touches are being added to the title right now. Likely heading into a last playtest/debugging phase, everything seems to be on-track for the planned release in the new year - assuming nothing major crops up in the home-stretch.
Talking through a simple press release, the team had this to say: "In this new, Warhammer 40k title, two brutal factions face off in a battle of total annihilation. On on side the vicious Orks, a race so brutal that bloodlust must be satiated on an almost daily basis, through intense combat. On the other, the wild but honorable Space Wolves have decided that they are more than willing to stand up the Greenskin horde. Neither will come out of this conflict unscathed, but only one faction will leave Alaric Prime victorious."

Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach is a title Slitherine Entertainment is hoping will captivate the PC market as much as the original tabletop version of the title. The 3D turn-based strategy game promises to be "fast, immediate, deep, impressive to look at and incredibly fun" as you lead the Space Wolves to victory in a time of darkness.
Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach releases January 19 through Steam. Those lucky enough to have been around Nottingham last month had a chance to play the title during the Warhammer World days.
