With over two years under its belt already, we're not sure Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide will ever truly stop receiving updates. Not that it's a bad thing, of course.
The latest slow-burning Vermintide patch is officially named 'Arrogance Lost' and acts as our 1.9 update - meaning we're incredibly close to a 2.0 patch, should there be one. And those usually mean big things.
The patch's main two features relate to how it attempts to spice up the game with an artificial higher difficulty curve for those thinking Ubersreik isn't really on the border of total collapse. It's difficult to convey how they're managing this, but it's handled by adding "Shiny new, incredibly punishing achievements to levels your know and love.".

On top of that, all 'red weapons' have been giving a slight overhaul. Now with a second set of traits accessed through the in-game shrine, the question remains whether they're purpose build to aid in this new achievement hunt, or just designed to add a little more variety along the way.
Otherwise, you're getting a balance and performance patch with a number of bug fixes and a slew of number changes for trinkets and traits. Check out the patch notes over here.
