While there's no real mention as to why the card prices are about to jump up, we'll blame Brexit as usual. While Europe gets a steady increase across the board, the UK is about to taste the full wrath of the price ump with the lowest purchase going up by £1 (50%) at the most.
For that reason alone, it's likely a good time to take Blizzard up on their offer of pre-purchasing the newest expansion if you're looking to get into it at any time. It shouldn't need to be said that the increases will take effect across all version of the game whether you play on PC, Mac, Android or iOS. But with a little foresight and forward thinking, you can keep damage to a minimum if you know you'll be sticking out the soon-to-be new meta.
