While Valve weren't those sole responsible for the popularity of Left 4 Dead, it was simple enough concept that excited would-be players from the very beginning. Living up to the hype by delivering frantic, cruel and blisteringly difficult 4-player undead run n' gun action, it was a formula you would then expect many to emulate in the years that followed.

But not all that many did. It took another 8 years, but Fatshark managed to give it a show. Not willing to take a stab at it with an original IP, they were able to secure what was necessary to use a popular franchise that would feel at-home with the 4 vs Many formula - Warhammer. Focusing on the Skaven, a race of large, mutated rodents that will always outswarm their prey, Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide pulled off a positive spin on the idea cemented may years before. Now with 2 years under its belt, it's still getting updates - so it's time we start to keep up.
Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide Patch 1.9.8: Fixes & Tweaks
The biggest addition from the V1.9.8 Patch that Fatshark Games has released, is the ability to check which Vermintide players you've recently played with in the Recent Games list on Steam, while other fixes and tweaks have also been added. Check out the full list below:

Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide Patch 1.9.4
Just a couple of futher bug and balance fixes here to address some of the underlying issues of the Arrogance Lost update from the last week. And by balance, it's mostly the overuse of the word 'reduced'.

Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide Patch 1.9.3 Hotfix
Notice any Skaven leaping great distances after the Arrogance Lost update? Well, if you happened to crash at that point, all should be well now. Though we're not sure if that means the Skaven are still practicing for the Olympics. Heads up, Tokyo!

A number of 'fixes and tweaks' here that pertain to not only the Arrogance Lost update, but a few dug up from the past, too. Let's take a look.
