Despite there being a plethora of fine shooters releasing every other month, Lawbreakers is one that's gaining a lot of attention. If you'd like to see what all the fuss is about, there's one final Open Beta taking place this weekend.
Understanding the need to pre-load before the servers go live - as to not lose vital hours of what could be your own free-play experience - the Lawbreakers staff have announced that pre-loading will become available at a staggered pace across the world over the next 24 hours.
The beta itself kicks off Friday, July 28 and lasts until Tuesday, July 31; so that's plenty of time to get some rounds in and see whether fast-paced, low-gravity hero shooter is your jam. There's a growing trend in team-based shooters as of late, but Lawbreakers can bring that fun to a solo deathmatch if you wish. Official start times are 4pm CEST/7am PT on Friday, with the final beta wrapping up at the same time the following Tuesday.

As an added little bonus, if you're playing the game across North America, it's pretty easy to be entered into a competition to win one of the finest GPUs money can buy - the Nvidia GTX 1080Ti or, arguably more exciting, a replica Aerator assault rifle. All you need to do is play 3 matches in the first 4 hours of the beta. And live in North America. That's the tricky part.
So clear some HDD space if you've been stocking up on the rapidly releasing shooters as of late. Pre-loading can be achieved through Steam. There's no Nexon-only launcher involved here.
