Every good morning starts with a speaking pumping out the theme songs of some classic television - and Volition are here to start us off right. Agents of Mayhem recently got another found of new footage through a fresh trailer, and it's making generous use of both the Knight Rider and A-Team themes yet again.
The trailer itself is all about getting the people hyped for its August release that's sneaky up relatively quickly. Back at the end of 2016 we knew very little about it despite being mindful of its existence for some time. Turn the clocks to May, however, and it seems like we know everything we need.
Agents of Mayhem, for the most part, can be described as a potential lovechild between Crackdown and a higher certificate Dreamworks or Illumination production. Pulling off a visual style and premise similar to that of Microsoft's city-wide criminal action game with the quick-witted humor of a modern 3D animated movie, it's still not one you'd want young children to pick up and play - but one they'd probably love just as much as the rest of us.
Was The Last Trailer Not Enough? Here's 90 Minutes Of Agents Of Mayhem Gameplay
There isn't a whole lot to say about the footage down below, other than it's a chaotic mess of guns, spruced-up vehicles and a maniacal villain that wouldn't see out of place in a movie like Despicable Me. After slapping some boxart shots on the screen toward the end, however, we are given a look at the game's pre-order bonuses. With the obligatory 'Day One Edition' coming with the 'Legal Action Pending' DLC, it also comes with 'cosplay skins' for 6 characters. What they're cosplaying, however, is for you to figure out.
Agents of Mayhem releases August 18. Get a good look at the automobiles you'll be riding around Seoul in the trailer down below.
