Epic Games’ Fortnite Battle Royale has officially launched into season 4, and it's started off with a bang. With the meteor hitting Dusty Depot, mysterious space rocks lying around the map, and new loot, there's a ton of new things to explore and try out in Fortnite Patch v4.0.
In the latest update, the most notable change is that Dusty Depot has a giant crater next to it. Within the crater is a fenced off area with structures to build off of, and even a helicopter! Littered throughout the map are Epic’s latest feature, hop rocks, which grant players low-gravity movement for a limited time.
Detailed below are the official 4.0 update patch notes:
Fortnite Patch v4.0 Changes
Input settings are now filtered based on game mode.
They’ve also been grouped by category (Combat, Building, Editing, etc.) to make it easier to search through them.
Added icons for the tabs at the top of the Settings screen.
Added “Ignore Gamepad Input” option to the Accessibility settings tab.
This setting can be helpful to players who use external programs to remap their controller input and need the game to ignore the controller input.
Bug Fixes

My favorite drop point in solos is Dusty Depot, but with this update I might be looking for a new spot! Where is your favorite place to drop in Fortnite? Let us know!
