Fortnite: Battle Royale is the game's first fully free-to-play game-type. Officially launching for everyone on September 26, it's a clear homage to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds; which itself borrows heavily from the popular Japanese movie of the same name. We've got the latest Fortnite Patch Notes right below.
Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite Patch v3.6 is now available to download, with downtime expected to start at 8am GMT / 4am ET. We've highlighted most of the important changes below.
Fortnite Update v3.6 - Patch Notes
Fortnite Update v3.6 is going to bring a lot of changes to the game, but it will also add a new weapon called the Clinger Grenade, which is a sticky bomb that you can attach to any surface or player. You can find this new grenade in Floor Loot, Supply Drops, Supply Llamas, and Treasure Chests. The Noble Launcher is also a new weapon, which can be used in Save the World.
There's a couple more changes too, like Twitch account linking being removed due to scalability issues, while metal doors will now make a noise when closed.
