Far Cry: New Dawn is going to be set in Hope County, much like its direct predecessor, though the two games will be set 17 years apart, with the locale now undergoing a so-called post-apocalyptic 'superbloom', where everything blooms. Superbly.
Far Cry New Dawn Locations won't be limited to a revamped Far Cry 5 map, however, due to the newly-announced feature of Expeditions where players will have the chance to visit Far Cry New Dawn Grand Canyon, among other places.
The announcement of Far Cry New Dawn Expeditions has made us wonder what locations are in Far Cry New Dawn, and according to Ubisoft, the game is going to extremely varied in that regard. Expeditions will allow players to take a chopper to complete procedurally-generated missions in famous American locales.
Expeditions will, then, be sort of like endgame dungeons in a way, though this time around, set in Grand Canyon, Florida Bayou, and the like. Ubisoft hasn't provided a conclusive list of all the places we'll be able to visit, but the feature itself sounds extremely promising as an add-on to the core region of Hope County.
There's lots we know about Far Cry: New Dawn, such as information on the villains, pricing, factions, and more - which is great, as the game is coming out pretty soon, on 15th of February. Stay tuned for more info on this curious pivot for the Far Cry franchise!
