Although A Plague Tale: Innocence throws its protagonists right in the middle of a terrifying situation, it also gives them the tools to brave the dangers of plague-ridden medieval France. As the story progresses, more and more upgrades become available for Amicia, which increase her efficiency.

A Plague Tale: Innocence All Upgrades List
Similar to ammo crafting, all upgrades in A Plague Tale: Innocence require materials spread through the world in order to be obtained. Some materials overlap with those required to craft the Somnum and Luminosa potions, so you’ll have to decide whether investing in said potions over upgrades is worth it.
Upgrades are split into three categories, Sling, Equipment and Alchemy, each upgrade having three levels with increasing material requirements. This the full list:
Sling
- Strings
- Level 1 - Hitting enemies in the head kills them instantly.
- Level 2 - Reduces the time it takes for Amicia to get out and load the sling.
- Level 3 - The sling no longer makes any noise.
- Pouch
- Level 1 - Reduces the time required to get maximum shot accuracy.
- Level 2 - Reduces reloading time.
- Level 3 - Allows two shots in a row without reloading and priming.
Equipment
- Level 1 - Holds up to 12 of each material type.
- Level 2 - Holds up to 16 of each material type.
- Level 3 - Holds up to 22 of each material type.
- Ammunition Bag
- Level 1 - Holds up to 10 of each ammunition type.
- Level 2 - Holds up to 14 of each ammunition type.
- Level 3 - Holds up to 20 of each ammunition type.
- Attirail
- Level 1 - Running and dodging makes less noise.
- Level 2 - Workshop is no longer required to upgrade equipment.
- Level 3 - Tools are no longer required to upgrade equipment.
Alchemy
- Containers
- Level 1 - Increases the duration and effect of Odoris and Luminosa.
- Level 2 - Can use sling to throw Luminosa.
- Level 3 - Somnum can be thrown.
- Instruments
- Level 1- Ignifer ammo distracts enemies.
- Level 2 - Improves the speed of ammo crafting.
- Level 3 - Shooting a regular stone with the sling removes the target's helmet.
