What’s the console release date for Frostpunk 2? There’s been some pretty awesome city builders releasing for the PC this year, after Manor Lords, Against the Storm, and my personal favorite Pioneers of Pagonia released. Next up is Frostpunk 2, but will it be made available on the Xbox Series X/S or PlayStation 5?
Frostpunk 2 is set 30 years after an apocalyptic blizzard devastated Earth, you face not only the perils of never-ending winter but you will also struggle with the snoopy factions inside the Council Hall that watch your every step.
Will Frostpunk 2 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
Developer 11 Bit Studios has confirmed that Frostpunk 2 will be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, though its release is not expected until 2025. The console versions will not launch alongside the PC version, which is set to release on September 20th.

We don’t think it will released until 2025 because 11 bit studios will probably want to gather more feedback from the PC build and spend at least a few months working out a content roadmap for 2024 - 2025 before it opens up more platforms.
The PlayStation 5 store listing for Frostpunk 2 isn’t listing a release date at the moment, so while it’s been confirmed to be in development, a release date hasn’t been decided on yet.
