The Aegis Plate is one of the items required to progress through Bloodstained Ritual of the Night. Not only that, but in tandem with the ability to invert the level, it greatly enhances your character’s mobility.
Here’s where you can find the Aegis Plate in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night.
Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Aegis Plate
Spikes are a nuisance in most video games and Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is no exception. Luckily, the Aegis Plate lets you circumvent those pesky obstacles, provided you find it. In order to get to its rather hidden location, you’ll need to make use of the invert power which quite literally turns things upside down.
First you want to fast travel to the Tower of Twin Dragons using a mirror. As you arrive, head towards the right, passing the room with the green chest, until you reach an elevator. Ride the elevator to the very bottom. As soon as you’ve reached the bottom, go to the right again and you’ll find yourself outside.
This is where you’ll want to invert and allow yourself to drop all the way down again. You should then spot a spike trap alongside a green chest above it. Get as close as you can to the spikes without touching them and invert again. You’ll be able to open the chest which happens to hold the Aegis Plate. Equipping it lets you effectively walk through spikes in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night.
