Borderlands 3 is currently celebrating the series’ 10-year anniversary through a good few weeks’ worth of in-game events. Show Me The Eridium, the next one in line, was detailed today.
The Show Me The Eridium event is slated to begin tomorrow, October 15, “by or before 23:00 BST “ and lasts for an entire week, until October 22. As you can tell from the title, it revolves around Borderlands 3’s valuable purple currency.

Borderlands 3's Show Me The Eridium event is arguably the best time to farm the purple currency. It can be exchanged at Crazy Earl's, on Sanctuary, for a variety of cosmetic items and, more importantly, annointed guns that greatly synergize with specific builds.
Here's what you can expect form Borderlands 3's Show Me the Eridium event:
- Standard enemies drop Eridium
- Mayhem Mode yields an increased amount of Eridium drops
- Moxxi's Vault Line slot machine costs less Eridium to play
- Items sold by Crazy Early benefit from discounts
The Show Me The Eridium event will be pushed to live through a micropatch. If you happen to be playing Borderlands 3 at the time it becomes available, you'll get an in-game notification. Like with other updates, the developer suggests going back to the main menu and waiting a while for the patch to be applied.
The remaining two Borderlands 3 anniversary events are titled Mayhem on Twitch and Spooky Surprise. Details on them will arrive closer to their start date.
Borderlands 3 is out now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
