Borderlands 3 players can look forward to five weeks’ worth of anniversary celebration events as the original loot shooter series turns ten.
Developer Gearbox announced today that it’s kicking off the series of anniversary celebration events in Borderlands 3 with one whole week of bonus boss loot.
Borderlands 3 10-year Anniversary Celebration Events
Between today, October , and October 7, certain bosses in Borderlands 3 have an increased chance to drop a unique Legendary item. Here’s the full breakdown so you can plan out the order in which you’ll tackle these bosses for that extra chance at loot:
- Mouthpiece has an increased chance to drop Gatling Gun
- KillaVolt has an increased chance to drop Brainstormer
- Gigamind has an increased chance to drop Nagata
- Katagawa Ball has an increased chance to drop Rectifier
- Katagawa has an increased chance to drop Legendary class mods (all Vault Hunters)
- Rampager has an increased chance to drop Kill-o'-the-Wisp
- Warden has an increased chance to drop Echo
- GenIVIV has an increased chance to drop Ten Gallon
- Aurelia has an increased chance to drop Creeping Death
- Graveward has an increased chance to drop Earworm
- Pain and Terror have an increased chance to drop Legendary class mods (all Vault Hunters)
- Troy has an increased chance to drop Nova Berner
- Tyreen has an increased chance to drop Bitch
The events that will follow Boss Week weren’t detailed just yet, however, both their titles and the periods they’ll take place in were revealed. If this week is dedicated to Bonus Boss loot, players will go on a Rare Spawn Hunt between October 8 and October 14.
Show Me The Eridium occupies the week between October 15 and 21, while Mayhem on Twitch will likely spice up viewing Borderlands 3 on the popular platform between October 22 and 28.
Stretching from October 29 and until November 4 will be Spooky Surprise, which isn’t the same thing as the Bloody Harvest Halloween event.
We’ll likely learn more about each of the Borderlands 3 anniversary celebration events closer to their start dates. Borderlands 3 is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
