Alice Games has revealed its online co-op horror game Dig Dig Die for PC via Steam.
The game is a mixture of Sea of Thieves’ treasure hunting and the social farce of R.E.P.O., where half the fun is in trusting in your fellow man or woman, and it going spectacularly wrong with hilarious anecdote-worthy consequences.
The grave-robbing chaos of Dig Dig Die lets up to six players take on the role of pirates raiding graveyards, digging up coffins, and breaking into crypts to unearth valuable loot. Doing so takes tools of the trade such as shovels and crowbars, as well as some less orthodox equipment.
Dig Dig Die Offering Mutant Mutiny
Naturally, it’s not as simple as all that. There be monsters out there, and that breeds the aforementioned chaos as players decide whether working together to get the job done quickly is a better strategy than legging it on their own, leaving their team to a gnarly fate.
On top of that, while some of the treasure offers boosts to your performance, some of it can be cursed, too. Not to mention that the deeper you dig, the riskier things get.
If you do happen to make it out alive and rich, you and your friends can head back to the flying ship HQ to spend hard-earned loot on goodies or take part in various in-world gambling games to try and add to the coffers.
There’s a vague Q1 2026 release window for Dig Dig Die on PC via Steam. You can wishlist it now.
