Chivalry 2’s House Galencourt Update 2.1.0 is now live, its patch notes revealing the addition of two new maps, a 3v3 Arena mode, alongside the return of the arrow cam and a whopping 60 new cosmetic items that you can use to customize your warriors.
The first map added in Chivalry 2’s House Galencourt Update 2.1.0 is The Desecration of Galencourt, a Team Objective map that sees the Mason Order sieging the city that acts as the seat of the Agathian Church. The attackers will have to fight their way through its walls, blow up the ships waiting in the harbor, then finish things off with a blow to the defenders’ morale by desecrating the relics and the tomb of Feydrid.
The second new map revealed in House Galencourt Update 2.1.0’s patch notes is The Betrayal of Courtyard, which can be played in either team deathmatch, free-for-all, or the new Arena mode. Tournament Grounds and Fighting Pits also accommodate Chivalry 2’s 3v3 mode that adds some much-needed smaller-scale battles to the mix. The first team to emerge victorious in 5 separate rounds wins.
Players can also make use of an improved version of the arrow cam that now works with every throwable item and track their gameplay stats through an early version of the Player Profile Screen feature.
Your warriors get 60 new cosmetic items to wear, including new female armor skins belonging to the Protector of Galencourt sets, two new female voices (Bar Maid and Evil Queen), alongside new swords and shields.
Chivalry 2’s House Galencourt Update 2.1.0 also includes a swathe of fixes and balancing changes for existing content that you can learn more about in the full patch notes over on its official website.
