Dauntless has seen a considerable influx of new players following its launch, and since this is a dedicated online multiplayer title, it's almost a given that this inevitably means server issues. Though mostly stable, there's been some trouble with server status as of late.
If you, too, are wondering if Dauntless servers are down for maintenance, you've come to the right place, as we'll be using this page to host the latest Dauntless maintenance information from now on. Find the up-to-date bits down below.
Dauntless Server Status
While it's not great that Dauntless servers have been in trouble over the past few hours, the developers have shown themselves to be very open and eager to share latest developments as they occur.

Some Slayers are having a hard time connecting or staying connected to the game.
The team is aware and working on a fix. Check back here for updates.
The first tweet, which announced issues in the first place, was quickly followed up by an update, saying that the devs' hosting provider was experiencing a world-wide outage across the board. The second update came up fast as well, noting that the servers were mostly stable at that point.
As it stands, however, it seems that not all problems have yet been fixed:

We know some Slayers in a few regions are having trouble matchmaking.
We’re working on getting everyone through to a more stable environment as quickly as possible.
✨Thank you all for the reports!✨
There's been no new updates since, though we're sure the devs are working around the clock to get things up and running right. Godspeed!
