Dauntless is, much like any other game, not without its issues, not least of which is a rather prominent one that causes your camera to bug out during the game's tutorial sequence.
The so-called Dauntless tutorial bug is quite widespread, but we seem to have found a fix for the problem, that you too could use if you ever come across the issue! Find the fix down below.
How to fix Dauntless Tutorial Bug?
With the tutorial camera bug being as widespread as it seems to be, there had to have been a solution on offer - somewhere. What we've found is that a very specific course of action may resolve the problem in certain cases, according to an old Reddit post from a year ago.
According to that, what you want to do is put Dauntless into windowed mode, less than max resolution, set Motion Blur to 'full', turn on V-Sync, and then set Graphics quality on Medium across the board. This seemingly random combination of settings resolved the user's problem, as well as that of another commenter.
Whether this helps you is anyone's guess, as the issue seems at least somewhat individualised across various instances of this bug, but who knows. Happy hunting, and if you're in need to a handy Dauntless elements chart, we've got just the right thing.
