Dead by Daylight's Shrine of Secrets is a special feature that allows you to equip certain Teachable Perks on any of your unlocked Killer and Survivor characters. This makes it a crucial upgrading tool, and something you'll need to acquaint yourself with early on.
The Shrine of Secrets works in conjunction with Dead by Daylight Bloodweb. Each and every Teachable Perk you unlock via the Shrine is immediately made available for any of your characters of that type – Killer or Survivor – to equip and use.
The first thing to note about Dead by Daylight's Shrine of Secrets is that it won't let you buy Teachable Perks with Bloodpoints.

Instead, you're going to need to get a supply of the so-called Iridescent Shards, which are normally used to unlock characters, cosmetics, and other customization items. You can get Shards by gathering Experience Points and increasing your Account level.
The Teachable Perks available in the Shrine of Secrets usually rotate on a weekly basis, with a few exceptions like Anniversary events. The reset comes every Wednesday, at 00:00 UTC/GMT, so be sure to jot that down if you're hunting for a particular Teachable.
Teachable Perks cost a hefty 2000 Iridescent Shards, but with the caveat that some Teachables are bound to particular DLC. These will set you back a more substantial 2700 Shards.
This week's Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets rotation offers the following Perks:
- Power Struggle - 2000 Iridescent Shards
- Territorial Imperative - 2000 Iridescent Shards
- Thanatophobia - 2000 Iridescent Shards
- Up the Ante - 2000 Iridescent Shards
The UI showcases which character has the Perk by default, so that you always have a reference at hand, if need be.
Dead by Daylight is out now on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and mobile.
