Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Ghost Ship Games have announced that Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 6 will release on PC at the end of January, arriving on consoles two weeks later.
Titled Relics of Hoxxes, DRG’s Season 6 was developed alongside Danish developer Invisible Walls, bringing us not only a new biome and a mission type but also new threats to face as we dig through the planet’s surprisingly malleable caverns.
Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 6 Releases on PC Come January 29, 2026
Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 6 release introduces the brand new Ossuary Depths biome, a gloomy environment that hosts vast riches.
We’ll get to seek them during the new Heavy Excavation mission type, which “puts [us] in pursuit of priceless Resinite Mass deposits, which […] need [to be] dug up and sent spacewards as fast as [we] can muster.”
While we’re at it, we’ll have to fend off familiar swarms of Glyphids, as well as new Ossiran enemies who have made the Ossuary Depths their home. As you probably expect, these creatures are all too eager to employ “nasty new tricks” and eliminate any loud, pesky miner dwarves that might intrude.
A new performance pass should also be on the way, offering new rewards to unlock as we complete missions.
These additions, free to all owners of the base game, will be accompanied by a new premium DLC – The Relic Raider Pack. It includes a new cosmetic armor set that turns our dwarves into veritable combat archaeologists, and you can check it out in the trailer embedded below.
This sizeable update comes after a bit of a content lull for the co-op first-person shooter, while its developer focused on roguelite spinoff Rogue Core.
Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 6 releases on PC on Janaury 29, 2026 before launching on consoles two weeks later, on February 12.
